New
Orleans Weather - The weather in New Orleans
is often hot and muggy. That’s it in a nutshell
so when you are packing be careful to include a lot
of lightweight clothing. In the months of June to
September maximum average temperatures can be around
87 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit but with relative humidity
over 80%. It tends to be cooler in other months of
the year but humidity can still be quite high.
So pack a lot of cotton light-colored clothing so
that you are not too hot while you are sight-seeing.
If you love the Warm Weather you
will be in heaven. Plenty of sunshine all year round
so you can visit at any time and enjoy all the attractions.
Bring lots of shorts and tops, some slacks for the
evenings and of course a couple pairs of comfortable
walking shoes.
Very rarely will it get cold, but it may get a little
cool. So do bring along a jacket just in case. The
worst thing is to not be prepared and be too cold
and to have to end your day or night too quickly,
so make sure you pack a couple jackets and carry one
with you during the fall and winter months. You’ll
be glad you did.
